Limburg is the most southeastern province of the Netherlands. Due to its location people speak dialects that remind one of German and French. The Limburg landscapes are different from your stereotypical idea of a Dutch landscape. No polders, dykes and tulip fields here, but hills, meandering rivulets and of course the mighty river Maas (Meuse River) passing through.
